What exactly is a visual novel?
- Visual novels are a lot like the old 'Choose your own adventure' books. They read like a novel with multiple branching paths you can take, but also include visual elements such as backgrounds, characters, and special effects!
- Visual novels can also include puzzles, items, and stats similar to point 'n click adventures or old-school rpgs.
How is your site Steam-like?
Like Steam, our games can be played anywhere you have access to the internet and the ability to login to your account!
How do I play your games?
Playing our games is as easy as one, two, three.
1. Make an account and login through and online web browser.
2. Purchase the game of your choosing through our online store.
3. Go to the My Games page to find your game and start playing!
Keep in mind that we keep track of game purchases and store saved games through your account, so without a login there's no way to play!
What types of games and novels do you offer?
We plan to provide content of all different kinds and genres! Check out the store for a list of each game. Each has a synopsis and playable demo!
What are your current plans for the site?
We want to have as many different types of games as possible. We want to be able to provide something for everyone to enjoy.
Currently we're producing a lot of games in-house, but we're also going to be working with some fantastic authors and illustrators in the novel/comic/game community to license or provide content for us to showcase on the site.
We're also planning to offer digital comics soon which will simply be comics that can be bought and read through much less bulky and messy compared to print.
And along with that, we plan to start localizing some of the great original visual novels from Japan. Visual novels so popular that people over here in the west have bought them even though there isn't an official translation yet.
